This past Friday I had the pleasure of chaperoning a field trip (yay for being able to do this again!) to Camp Kulaqua in High Springs, FL. One of my "jobs" was leading a group of students for a nature hike...what an enchanting place! It was amazing to see these high school seniors transform into curious kids again, looking around in amusement as we encountered the endless array of turtles, birds, spiders and other wildlife. Ahh...just look at this scene; and now breath in, and breath out. Repeat.
Naturally (pun intended!), this became the subject for my this week's painting project in my sketchbook. The piece of the week 15 of 2021 is completed!
