This landscape is inspired by the fields of wildflowers from my recent trip to my home country, Latvia. In the summer, the fields are full of the wild blooms of all kinds, and wild poppies are my favorite.
The piece is unframed, but its 1.5-inch deep edges are painted and give it a contemporary finished look that allows for display without a frame.
