Medium: oil paint on stretched canvas

This is a landscape that combines some of my favorite hues: ultramarine blues with peachy pinks and yellows. There is a fair amount of textural brushstrokes that form the lit up sky in the background, which allows for the piece to be enjoyed when viewed close-up. Sunrise or sunset, you ask? I will leave that be in the eye of the beholder!

The piece is unframed, but its 1.5-inch deep edges are painted and give it a contemporary finished look that allows for display without a frame. The mock up interior photos shows a preview of this piece in a simple frame, if you choose to add one on your own.
