This piece is a part of my "weekly paintings" project. It was created in 2020, and it is a study of a white bird of paradise plant growing in my yard--a piece of tropical paradise for you! In contrast to the showy but much smaller traditional bird of paradise plant, the white ones can get gigantic--it is as tall as my pool screen! Its flowers are often hiding and are not so easily noticed, so in this piece I wanted to highlight their beauty.

This piece is unframed. It is inserted into a white matboard and shipped flat. It needs to be framed for display.
